Russia uses TOS-1A weapon system in Ukraine [with video]

The carnage will continue to scale

9 March 2022 (Krakow, Poland) – Earlier today I reported on the Russian strike of a maternity and children’s hospital in Mariupol, Ukraine (photos above). There were reports of 7 deaths plus children trapped or dead under the wreckage. It was originally reported by Ukraine President Zelensky, but I waited until I received independent confirmation from Bellingcat and other OSINT sources.

I spoke to one of my military contacts you examined the damage including a bomb crater (photo below) and he indicated that is the type of damage you see from use of a FAB 1000 high explosive bomb.

These are general-purpose, non-precision bombs that are air-dropped as a compromise between blast damage, penetration, and fragmentation in explosive effect. These are so-called “dumb” bombs that are not precision-guided and would have limited ability to hit targets precisely. They are designed to be effective against enemy troops, vehicles, and buildings.

And in a related development, about 2 hours ago (it is 10pm in Krakow as I write this) the Russian Ministry of Defense  confirmed the use of the TOS-1A weapon system in Ukraine. The TOS-1A uses thermobaric rockets, creating incendiary and blast effects. Watch the video below (released by the UK Ministry of Defense) for more information about this weapon and its devastating impact.

OK this type of weaponry needs to be either, if used with civilian casualties the country has the right to bomb back or if used with civilian casualties will be destroyed on site
