My company, Luminative Media

Project Counsel Media

“Illuminating pathways through text, video and photography”

In today's era of instant information gratification, we have ready access to opinions, rationalizations, and superficial descriptions. Much harder to come by is the foundational knowledge that informs a principled understanding of the world. This is my attempt to synthesize specialized subject matter for all level of readers to engage in critical topics through the fundamentals of complex ideas.

My intention is to delve deeper into issues, at greater length and with more historical and social context, in order to illuminate pathways of thought that are not possible to pursue through the immediacy of daily media. Luminative Media covers - through text, through photographs, through video - a range of concerns, from art and philosophy, to digital capitalism, and geopolitics. I step outside of the usual lanes and cross disciplines, social silos, political tribes and cultural boundaries. I invite you learn more by just clicking on the logo above or by clicking here.

The mind that lies fallow but a single day, sprouts up in follies that are only to be killed by a constant and assiduous culture.

About Me

My name is Gregory Bufithis. In brief, I am a digital media/telecom attorney, journalist, writer, and media producer. Oh, and I was a neuroscience student and an artificial intelligence student in two MOOC programs, the first at Cambridge University in the UK and the second at ETH in Zurich, recently completed in the last few years. Yes, a late bloomer. You can read the details under the "About Me" tab above.

Photography

“Every picture tells a story, don’t it?”  In this block, from time to time, I will show a photo with a caption. And then a link to the backstory of that photo.

Iranian girls were inspired to take up mathematics as a result of Maryam Mirzakhani’s success. It is an incredible story. Read more by clicking here.
